The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Enterprise Digital Solutions Team, the Senior Associate will be responsible for managing key projects for the duration of the project life cycle for DTCC businesses. The team focuses on bringing the best of the automation technologies in the field of RPA, OCR, BPM, AI, Low Code / No Code to create efficient processes for business partners. This plays a critical role in reimagining the future-state of all business lines to support DTCC's modernization initiatives, working collaboratively with Business Units, IT Architecture, Application Development, and other partners (e.g., Finance, Risk, Infrastructure). In addition, the Project Manager will balance being strategic and tactical with a high level of energy and flexibility to get things done and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented development environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform all aspects of the project management lifecycle of transformational projects. Accountable for project initiation, planning and execution, as well as responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the project delivers expected business outcomes within approved scope
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies: the Project Manager will ensure that all agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives are conducted effectively
  • Assist teams in resolving impediments by acting as an efficient scrum master
  • Work closely with partners to plan and develop roadmap, scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for assigned projects
  • Proactively manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed; identify the 'path to green'
  • Run scrum ceremonies for multiple squads to ensure deliverable is moving as expected
  • Assist team in coordinating Audit effort and ensuring relevant processes are adhered to from policy standpoint
  • Ensure organization is operationally ready prior to implementation and has relevant documentation in place
  • Capture partner needs and expectations, gaining and maintaining partner support, and mitigating opposition
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and dependencies across the portfolio of initiatives
  • Produce and maintain project reports for partners, including senior management to provide transparency and to facilitate decision-making
  • Lead project team meetings ensuring that project obstacles, issues and risks are surfaced, documented and addressed
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Report project statuses and issues accurately and bring up to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with partners as well as project performance communication
  • Assist with the scheduling and facilitation of meetings while taking quality meeting minutes for alignment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience


Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum 8-10 years of project management experience using agile methodologies and standard PM tools like MPP etc. Strong project management skills are crucial, including the ability to plan, implement, and close projects. This involves managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Exceptional ability to create high quality presentations in power point (by converting multiple data set into a logical story) for senior management is a critical skill for this role. Strong experience with documentation, visio and advanced excel for data manipulation
  • Experience and hands on knowledge in improving sprint estimates, optimizing scrum meetings and improving the overall time to market for automation solutions
  • Experience in creating dashboard using Power BI tool for data visualization. Experience in automation technologies (including Low Code No Code) like BluePrism, Appian is strongly desirable
  • Formal training, experience and certification in Agile project management framework is required along with in depth knowledge on JIRA
