The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the IT SIFMU & Risk department you will support the development & testing needs of multiple DTCC core business lines including FICC, Clearing & Settlement, Equity Clearing, Wealth Management, Treasury Clearing etc. The Lead Test Engineer is responsible for developing test plans and implementing those plans against the corresponding test procedures. They should also be accountable for the development of manual testing scripts, release, and maintenance of test procedures.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on epics and releases; present results and track defects to closure
- Prepare, maintain, and execute scripts for manual testing
- Review test cases / manual testing approach with collaborators to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback
- Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines
- Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.
- Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.
- Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases
- Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
- Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience leading large scale testing efforts or program management
- Preferably from the Capital Market domain with working knowledge of trade lifecycles
- Business sense with knowledge of Financial Risk Management or strong desire to learn
- Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination
- In depth knowledge of the SDLC and STLC lifecycles
- Experience with Manual testing/User Acceptance testing and Test Engineering methodologies
- Experience with Intermediate MS Excel
- Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM,
- Experience with test data management is a plus
- Detailed understanding of smoke testing, as well as regression testing
- Experience in estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activities
- Experience addressing business users/collaborators
- Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.
- PMP ® , CSM ® ,CSPO ® ,or PMI-ACP ® a plus
