As the People Program Manager, EMEA & APAC, you will have responsibility for running a portfolio of strategic people initiatives for the region, and contributing to the successful people service delivery model for EMEA & APAC. You will identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies to support performance and help inspire creativity. As a change agent, you will help create a new center of excellence program to focus on continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across the region, in collaboration and alignment with global systems & processes.

This role will report into VP, People EMEA & APAC with a dotted line to the Director, People Strategy & Enablement in the US.
You Will:
- Partner on a diverse variety of key strategic People projects along with supporting BAU systems issues, troubleshooting and solutions
- Partner with subject matter experts from People, legal, compliance, payroll, benefits and the business to create and implement process improvement and transformation projects across new and existing People workflows, documenting those workflows, diagnosing inefficiencies, and ensuring the completion of projects to work towards an optimized future state
- Identify opportunity areas where people process management and reengineering can significantly impact efficiency, quality, and employee satisfaction
- Create governance, framework and methodology for projects and instill across People team
- Lead and/or actively participate in all aspects of assigned projects and prepare detailed program and project level plans, track milestones, results and overall status updates
- Responsible for projects from initiation through delivery including planning, schedule management, risk mitigation, and coordinating adoption rollouts
- Creation of and/or leveraging on regularly scheduled meetings as forums for discussions, reporting of project status and escalation of issues
- Work with and develop strong business partnerships across Dow Jones to identify long-term strategic and short-term tactical opportunities to create greater efficiencies in Workday related People processes, systems and resource optimization and seamless integration with employee self-service platforms.
- Work with region People Connect Lead to unlock WorkDay & technological tools & capabilities and functions for the region, removing mundane, monotonous and voluminous work and automating processes where possible
- Be the contact point with region, global and Newscorp Workday and People Operations team to explore and implement functionalities for the region
- Support VP in all meeting agendas, ensuring effective use of time and resources, bringing together relevant colleagues, and follow-up actions properly addressed
- Proactively urge and effectively challenge VP and People colleagues to ensure time, effort and resources are invested in relevant and impactful priorities
- Work closely with region People Connect Lead to drive adoption of self-service platform through effective communication and change management
- Participate, suggest and translate HR concepts into consumable articles to increase knowledge base of self-service platform
- Craft project plan to onboard and transition to outsourced service partners when identified
You Have:
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow and other HR technologies.
- Project management experience, strong time management and organization skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and streams of work
- Manage the delivery of HR programs to meet agreed outcomes
- Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring that People impacts are effectively managed
- Ability to liaison between business partners to coordinate project kick-offs, stakeholder meetings, and drive projects to completion
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
- Proactively drive program execution and associated scope, timeline, and resources with minimal guidance
- Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired program outcomes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- A willingness to work in the office at least three days each week
- Experience using and maintaining multiple tools such as Canva, Sterling, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Form and Google Sheets
- Experience prioritising multiple projects and escalate when needed
- Experience working with contemporary HR Technology platforms (e.g. Workday, JIRA, ServiceNow)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
