DoorDash Labs is searching for an Operations Associate to support our day-to-day operations in DFW. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, loves logistics, and is passionate about new technologies.
As an Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our autonomous deliveries by being a runner, transporting food by bike or car from merchants to the drone nest. You'll also contribute to various side projects such as working with spreadsheets, engaging with the community through autonomous demos, distributing marketing materials, calling customers, and handling customer support inquiries.

About the Role

- Transport orders from merchants to the loading site via bike or car, ensuring seamless operations between merchants and order dispatch.
- Engage in community outreach by distributing fliers, conducting drone demos, and placing yard signs to increase awareness of the service.
- Assist with customer support, making calls to ensure customer satisfaction and helping resolve delivery issues.
- Support contractor team scheduling
- Use tools like Google Sheets to assist with basic data entry and tracking operational performance.
- Participate in side projects that contribute to scaling autonomous delivery, such as customer feedback collection and community engagement efforts.
