The Strategy & Operations Senior Manager, Pricing role is for truth seekers who enjoy solving complex problems, working across the organization, and executing to bring strategies to life.

We are looking for someone with strong business and financial acumen, outstanding strategic thinking skills, who can work with data to identify opportunities, partner cross-functionally to execute on initiatives, operate at the lowest level of detail, and design creative solutions that balance various business objectives.

You will report to our Strategy & Operations Director who leads our Consumer Pricing team.

  • Drive P&L improvements - manage one of the most impactful P&L line items to help DoorDash achieve its short term and long term topline and bottomline goal
  • Strategize - Develop the pricing strategy to help make DoorDash a daily habit for all consumers by providing the most affordable, transparent and fair pricing in a sustainable and reliable way
  • Analyze -Make data driven decisions by analyzing and diving deep into operational and financial data insights
  • Experiment - Use data to run tests on business ideas and product features
  • Build - You are excited to work on something that hasn't been done before. Your job will include building products and launching plans from the ground up.
  • Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including product, engineering, finance, analytics and marketing to execute on the plans that were built.
  • Operate - Figure out how to get A to B and then execute on that plan.

  • You're equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is beneath you.
  • You are analytical. You have strong knowledge of SQL, can build financial models using Google Sheets or Excel, and are able to build dashboards to track key metrics
  • You are a self starter who is biased towards action and excels in a fast-paced environment and evolving business. You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross functional teams including product, tech, marketing, finance, and legal
  • You have 8-10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, finance, product, growth or other related areas
  • You are a leader. You have 3+ years of experience managing teams.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.

$146,200-$215,000 USD
