The Broadcast & Audiovisual Ecosystem Specialist will play a key role in leading Dolby's growth in the Audiovisual Ecosystem in France. Growth means the successful adoption of Dolby's Audio and Imaging technologies in free-to-air TV, PayTV, streaming services as well as getting content produced with Dolby technologies that are relevant for these services. The market and technology landscape is changing rapidly, and we need an energetic Manager to help us further grow our footprint in the Audiovisual Ecosystem and ensure that Dolby technologies become an indispensable part of Audiovisual experiences in France.
The role will also require to closely interact with our Licensing team to make sure that the content experiences in Dolby directly translate to adoption of Dolby technologies on TV's, Set-Top-Boxes, Soundbars, Wireless Speakers, Mobile Devices and Cars. Making these connections is a critical capability to foster Dolby's business model.
A close working relationship with the Solutions and Field Engineering teams are also required to deliver and implement Dolby solutions on the content and services of our customers.
The ideal candidate has a rich network of relationships in the Audiovisual ecosystem in France, particularly with service providers like Broadcasters, PayTV and OTT. The candidate should have experience developing executive level relationships and partnerships.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow Dolby's footprint and technology adoption in the Audiovisual landscape (broadcast, PayTV, OTT and FAST)
- Engage and network with all stakeholders of the broadcast, PayTV, OTT and FAST ecosystems including content providers, operators, professional products providers, device OEM's, middleware providers, TV, and STB manufacturers to establish, maintain and grow relationships with the stakeholders involved.
- Create sales strategies with specific accounts in France to deliver on goals and targets.
- Create and manage account plans, sales plans, and pipelines aligned with the company's strategy and business imperatives.
- Monitor competitor's activities and market potential to identify opportunities for Dolby's technologies in France.
- Collaborate with Dolby's European Management team, Technology and Product Development teams to make recommendations on new business opportunities and the expansion of existing product and lines of business.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience with the maturity required for a manager role.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, or Business related degree or the equivalent in experience; past experience working in a multinational company would be an advantage.
- Deep Audiovisual ecosystem knowledge and network in PayTV Operators, broadcast, OTT and associated content industry experience and relationships.
- A thorough endto-end knowledge of Audiovisual ecosystem technologies and market drivers resulting from proven industry experience.
- Strong sales pitch creation and communication skills. Experience in long sales cycles.
- Technically and commercially competent with a track record of results.Holds herself/himself accountable for delivering on goals and commitment.
- Strong cultural fit with Dolby's collaborative environment.
Note: This position requires occasional overseas travel and work outside normal hours.
