The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents - partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
Within Marketing, the Global Social Media team plays a critical role in Dolby's brand storytelling, audience engagement, and influencer marketing, ensuring a unified and compelling presence across digital platforms.
The Role
Dolby is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Global Social Media to lead and expand our global social media strategy. This role is responsible for increasing Dolby's brand presence, driving audience engagement, and integrating social media into broader marketing initiatives.
As a key leader within the global marketing team, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and regional markets to execute high-impact campaigns. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in social media, brand storytelling, and data-driven decision-making, balancing creativity with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Execute Dolby's global social media strategy, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and regional objectives.
- Serve as a liaison between global and regional teams, providing best practices while enabling localized execution.
- Advocate for the role of social media within Dolby's marketing ecosystem.
- Manage priorities across global and regional teams through data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with social, digital, and influencer teams to integrate strategies for maximum impact.
- Lead global social media campaigns, including product launches, events, and brand storytelling initiatives.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to enhance Dolby's brand narrative.
- Guide regional teams to ensure content is engaging, culturally relevant, and aligned with Dolby's brand voice.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurement frameworks for social media success.
- Oversee analytics and insights, providing stakeholders with clear performance reporting.
- Lead benchmarking efforts and share best practices across global and regional teams.
- Work with insights and marketing operations teams to align social media data with overall marketing goals.
- Support the Head of Global Social and Digital Communications in tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Manage complex projects, ensuring timely execution and collaboration across teams.
- Oversee agency and vendor relationships to maintain high-quality partnerships.
- Growth and engagement of social audiences
- Performance and return on investment (ROI) of social campaigns
- Social share of voice and sentiment analysis
- Platform-specific success (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)

Experience
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy and execution for a global brand or agency.
- Proven track record in leading social media teams and managing large-scale campaigns.
- Expertise in best practices, audience trends, and emerging technologies across major social media platforms.
- Experience in multi-region marketing and adapting strategies for different markets.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
