Job Description

The job is responsible for selling audio and video technology solutions to mobile phone makers and achieving business goals. Ideal candidates should possess at least 6 years of excellent record-proven sales experience in mobile phone makers industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Licensing relationships and enterprises covered by Dolby Licensing technology.

• Develop and implement account plans for designated major accounts, designing successful strategies to drive sales objectives.

• Provide analyses, insights, and guidance to all Dolby segment market teams on key issues and quarterly objectives to achieve market penetration and ensure sales expectations are met.

• Understand industry, account business, and technical needs, identifying suitable emerging technologies and/or service areas to increase business advantages, acting as an account advocate to propose relevant suggestions to marketing and engineering departments.

• Provide insights and recommendations on new product and feature aspects to relevant Dolby engineers and marketing teams based on customer demands and competitor information. Gather intelligence on account product plans and customer requirements during meetings and share data with relevant Dolby teams.

Education Background, Technical Skills, Abilities, and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred but not required.

• Strong focus on sales goal with a proven track record of increasing business result. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills in contract, technical, and financial domains.

• Ability to provide high-level clarification and articulate insights on key transactional issues for senior management teams.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of working independently and collaboratively within teams.

• Over 10 years of experience in sales or market expansion.

• Ability to develop solid account relationships and possess negotiation skills beneficial to both Licensing manufacturers and Dolby.

• Excellent sales and business development, time management, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong presentation and organizational abilities. Must project a professional image and have strong speaking skills.

• Understanding of mobile device and mobile content distribution systems and their dynamics-including industry influencers, particularly operators influential in-service specifications and purchasing decisions, though not mandatory.

• Experience in any of the following areas is advantageous: TV, set-top boxes, DSP, software development and/or licensing projects, mobile phone manufacturing, and other consumer electronics companies.

• Interest in audio and video products, music, gaming, or film and television.

• The position requires 20%-30% travel time, including domestic and international travel.

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
