Job Duties and Responsibilities

EchoStar is seeking a dynamic University Relations (UR) Supervisor to lead our efforts in attracting and retaining top university talent. This role is instrumental in strengthening our employer brand within the academic community and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. As a key member of the UR team, you will oversee university partnerships, recruitment events, and internship programs that support our long-term hiring strategy. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with universities, faculty, student organizations, and career centers to enhance our presence on campus.
  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person recruitment events, including career fairs, networking sessions, and on-campus engagement.
  • Lead the execution of the summer internship program, ensuring a high-quality experience that aligns with company objectives and fosters long-term talent pipelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including the employment brand and business leaders to align on business needs relating to university recruiting efforts.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of university recruiting initiatives and continuously optimize strategies.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Basic Requirements:
  • 4+ years in university relations, talent acquisition, or related fields
  • 2+ years of management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed for campus engagements and recruiting events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of direct university recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale recruitment events and programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
