Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless seeks a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design and implementation of network systems crucial for our 5G network's success. This role involves evaluating, testing, and deploying foundational network elements for a nationwide 5G buildout. The candidate will provide advanced technical leadership, including upgrades for mission-critical devices and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicating engineering solutions through detailed diagrams
  • Implementing Agile methodology for software development
  • Architecting and developing software automation tools
  • Guiding teams on best software development practices
  • Collaborating with teams to innovate and drive new features forward
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environments
  • Professional networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent are advantageous
  • Public cloud certifications like advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent are beneficial


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, BPA, NSO, REST, Bash
  • Experience with server virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack)

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year
