Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position is ideal for a data-driven individual passionate about understanding customer behavior and driving measurable business outcomes through targeted insights and actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Churn Reporting Analysis: Analyze existing churn reports to uncover trends, shifts, and patterns in customer behavior, leveraging advanced tools for precision
  • Trend Analysis & Root Cause Identification: Identify anomalies and emerging trends in voluntary and involuntary churn rates, investigate key drivers, develop hypotheses for underlying causes, and validate them through in-depth analysis
  • Forecasting & Modeling: Develop and refine predictive models to forecast churn risks, simulate scenarios, and support proactive retention strategies
  • Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, connecting insights to business decisions and retention initiatives
  • Retention Strategy Support: Provide data-backed recommendations for treatments, initiatives, or campaigns designed to reduce churn
  • Program Measurement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of retention strategies, using data-driven insights to refine approaches and improve outcomes
  • Stakeholder Communication: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, analytics, and customer experience, to ensure alignment on churn and retention goals
  • Finance Reporting Enhancements: Enhance financial reporting by integrating churn forecasts and metrics, linking churn insights to revenue, profitability, and retention costs
  • Best Practice Sharing: Help disseminate knowledge and insights from churn analysis to broader teams to foster continuous improvement in retention strategies
  • Reporting Refinement: Work with analytics teams to identify gaps or improvements in existing churn reporting
  • Predictive Analysis: Contribute to building or refining models that anticipate churn risk and enable proactive customer interventions
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, churn/retention management, or related fields within the wireless or telecommunications industry


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings in a clear and actionable manner
  • Strong collaboration skills with a history of working across departments
  • Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,200.00/Year
