Job Description:
Corporate Risk Management ("CRM") is seeking to hire a strategic, analytical, and highly organized individual to support the Corporate Compliance Chief of Staff. Reporting to a Director of Business Strategy, the incumbent will be a critical member of the Chief Risk Officer's ("CRO") Chief of Staff team, supporting the CRO's identification and achievement of organizational priorities.

The Senior Principal, Business Strategy will serve as key support to the CRO, ensuring the cohesion and functionality of the organization to drive towards translating a bold vision into tangible results. The incumbent will be entrusted with triaging problems and managing escalations, enabling the CRO to ensure their time is spent where it is most needed.
This role requires strategic project leadership, exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to navigate complex situations, and the capacity to build strong relationships with high-level internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Principal, Business Strategy will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of the CRO's goals and priorities, in conjunction with the senior leaders, while fostering a culture of collaboration and values alignment.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for providing and coordinating support to leadership on strategic business initiatives including planning, prioritization, and project execution.
- Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You'll Do It
- Provides logistical support and leadership for many of the activities intended to set strategic direction and maintain alignment within the business. Participates in business unit scorecard and process reviews.
- Provides overall direction and support to the leadership team in defining, prioritizing, pursuing, and monitoring major initiatives.
- Manages and interprets data on business performance. Monitors and optimizes business performance.
- Manages budget and expense planning.
- Support the CRO in managing, monitoring, and executing strategic initiatives, programs, and special projects. Manage and improve systems to enable the CRO to work more efficiently and create clear processes by which vital information is reviewed.
- Build effective relationships with the Executive Leadership Team and their staff to ensure the
- CRO is fully informed on matters of significance across departments and programs.
- • Serve as a strategic partner for the Executive Leadership Team in organizational planning, topics for prioritization, meeting management, project management and communications.
- Prepare the CRO for meetings, including coordination of logistics in partnership with the CRO Chief of Staff team and the CRO's Executive Assistant, and development of content for speaking engagements and appearances.
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Operations or general business management, or related field.
- In lieu of education, 8+ years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Operations or general business management, or related field.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,000.00 to $178,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
