Role Responsibilities:

Specialists of Supply Commercialization play an integral role in supporting and delivering the run and improve agendas for business areas comprising the Supply organization!

Specialists are expected to:
  • Lead concurrent projects (Tramlining / Conversion / Procurement Strategy) from Gate 1 (Initiation) through Gate 5 (Implementation), satisfying Key Performance Indicators for timeliness, case fill, and net savings or benefit
  • Bring creative solutions to commercialization challenges
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support relationships with Diageo business partners
  • Function as an ambassador for World Class Commercialization (WCC) and other Supply Technical priorities
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Navigate ambiguity and leverage collaboration to solve problems
  • Be practitioners and advocates of our Leadership Standards and Must Dos
  • Applies strong project management skills to develop and manage project timelines, addresses technical and resourcing challenges and ensures risk profiles and mitigation plans are developed and driven for each project.


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Credentials (BA or BS degree) in Supply Chain Management, Project Management or a related field
  • Self-motivated, detail-attentive and collaborative
  • Work experience in one or more facets of our Supply Chain, i.e. Planning / Procurement / Manufacturing Conversion / Logistics / Technical is a plus
  • Experience in leading a multi-disciplined team in a very fast-moving environment, with the ability to lead, thrive, provide guidance and cut-through in the face of great ambiguity.
  • Successful candidates will have strong technical depth and performance management skills, dynamic cross-functional interaction, and highly effective project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
