About the team: (TE)

About the role: The role is within the India finance team which overall manages the local financial requirements for the DBSI entity. The team handles all local financial reporting, treasury management, regulatory, compliance and audits for the entity. This specific role predominantly covers areas of treasury, AR, AP and compliances and will also encompass tasks which are directly are indirectly related to other responsibilities of the overall team.

Looking for a hard-working and inquisitive individual who takes full ownership of their work, operates independently, and proactively seeks to learn, understand, challenge, and deliver without requiring constant supervision or guidance.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Treasury, AR & AP:
  • Maintain adequacy of the company's cash position, ensuring optimal liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Optimize cash balances to improve earnings from idle cash.
  • Track spot market and recommend best timing for FX conversions.
  • Complete bank transactions such as foreign currency conversions, intra bank transfers, external payments, statutory payments, and funding requirements.
  • Supervise revenue billings and collections.
  • Prepare & track AR, AP ageing analysis to reduce overdues.

2. Compliances and KPIs
  • Proactively manage and implement all compliances with zero tolerance to default related to the area of work (MSME, SEZ, RBI, FEMA etc,).
  • Complete foreign vendor payments and domestic statutory payments on a timely basis within due dates. Ensure zero deviation from the desired KPI.
  • Co-ordinate with the tax team and external consultants to obtain compliance documents on time to support foreign payments & dividends.
  • Work closely with the SEZ consultant and the bank to submit, regularize and clear compliance tasks such as EDPMS & IDMPS.

3. Management Reporting & MIS
  • Provide inputs to supervise the revenue life cycle.
  • Perform review of assigned GLs for trial balance review.
  • Prepare reconciliations and audit schedules during statutory audit.
  • Assist with journal entries and other tasks to ensure accurate reporting.

4. Collaborator Management:
  • Co-ordinate with bank authorizers to obtain timely approval of bank transactions.
  • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other external partners.

Stay updated about new enhancements in the banking industry, services, and trends to discover areas for potential upgrades.

Experience / skills required:
  • Any postgraduate with specialization in accounts and finance.
  • Intermediate in CA/ICWA will be an added advantage.
  • 1-4 years of prior experience in treasury, finance, and reporting.
  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills.
