About the role
For the RTD Sr Marketing Manager role we are looking for a solid end to end marketing leader, with proven strategic view, consumer understanding, brand building fundamentals, robust business and execution knowledge and consolidated influence and leadership skills, and appetite to combine traditional and disruptive business and activation model.

This person should have drive for action, passion for agility and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams at the same time, while being super careful with details to provide excellence in every single touchpoint with consumers. A mix of solid brand activation, business acumen and strong leaderships, to manage a complex ecosystem of communication, activation, commercial and internal partners in a highly competitive and seasonal category, where impact and timing are mandatories to win.
RTD is the most vibrant and accelerated category within TBA, with consistent growth over the past years, driven by high consumer demand and a dozen of new entrants every year.
While building the future of the Category for Diageo, this person will also be responsible to lead a dedicated team in charge of mid-short-term performance- based on commercial and activation tool.
This person will also be responsible for creating and implementing a robust communication plan in both ATL and BTL, having the responsibility to crack a a winning model to gain Gen Z hearts and lips, creating distinctiveness, relevance, and purchase intention, while implementing innovation and portfolio expansion for different brands, with the support of a best in class ecosystem of partner agencies - that will need the right drive and leadership to work together.
Additionally, this person will be responsible to think and design, together with a senior global group, the evolution of the end-to-end model that will prepare Diageo RTD's for the future.
Main Accountabilities:
Lead RTD Category Strategy, from 5Y ambition annual business plan Lead annual plan management, from growth drivers, share & financial commitments delivery, brand and communication plan design and implementation. Collaborate with Creative agencies, global brand teams, Customer Marketing, Sales, Supply, Market Insights on plan building and deployment at Media, Activation, On Trade, OFF Trade, and Events.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Growth mindset and high energy
- Track record in brand and business management, strong leadership and influence skills
- Solid experience in marketing, consumer strategy, ATL/BTL activities and commercial strategies.
- Organization and best in class with project/execution timelines.
- Strong "can do" attitude, taking risks
- Resilience and flexibility
- Good communications skills and story telling
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
