In this role you will focus on delivering outstanding results for customers and Diageo, and will take care of a brilliant execution of sales activation plans.

Top Accountabilities

  • Directly accountable for major retailers, negotiating and perfectly implementing annual agreements, materializing the potential of untapped opportunities and sustainably growing our business.
  • Prepare and lead the annual negotiations, implement the annual plans, create short and long-term customer strategies.
  • Analyze data and recommend actions, as a result of in-depth measurement and evaluations of past activities.
  • Apply best in class Key Account management skills.
  • Keep abreast of key tasks, like forecasting, investment budgeting, preparation of performance updates.
  • Relentlessly search for new opportunities, optimization of current processes and demonstrate a strong commitment to "grow yourself".
  • Nurture the "one team mentality" approach that is needed
  • Being the functional lead of other Key Account Managers.

About you:
  • Previous exposure to a commercial manager experience, 5-7 years work experience preferably in branded FMCG industry or retail market.
  • Strong commercial skills, understanding of a P&L, high affinity for numbers, proficiency in Excel.
  • Meaningful analytical skills, assertiveness, and interpersonal skills to build trustworthy relations.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategical personality with foresight who enjoys teamwork but also working independently.
