About The Role
Business Partnering
- Ensure the company's operation comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide legal advice to business with ability to express legal concepts in clear and practical manner while balancing between legal risk and business objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including commercial, and marketing contracts.
- Review and approve external facing materials including product labels, communication materials, etc.
- Cooperate with the Company Secretary and ensure local corporate law compliance.
- Implement contract/legal document management and manage legal housekeeping (archiving of contracts, minutes of Board Meeting etc.)
- Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external counsel.
Brand Protection
- Implement Brand Protection strategy and effectively manage external service providers.
- Promptly and professionally handle customer/consumer complaints in relation to suspicious illicit products.
- Establish relationship with external stakeholders and relevant regulatory bodies to influence enforcement and intellectual property protection.
- Build counterfeit awareness with employees, customers, regulatory bodies, and general public.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Pro-actively identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks related to business operations.
- Implement requirements of Legal policies including Antibribery and Corruption, Data Privacy, and Antitrust to minimize risk and enhance compliance.
- Act as a local Subject Matter Expert of Legal policies to support employees and embed culture of integrity.
About You
- At least 5 years of relevant legal experience including in FMCG or a highly regulated business.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiate contracts. Exposures or experience in laws and regulations relevant to Alcoholic Beverage Control, Data Privacy, Antitrust, FCPA and/or UK Anti-Bribery Act is a plus.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Business literacy or a willingness to understand the business context.
- Strong logical and analytical skills, with the solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Thai and English (writing and speaking).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team.
- The confidence and ability to make informed decisions and take ownership of the outcomes.
