About the scope
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.

The role
This role is mainly giving to the activities of the O&R and Closing cycles for the Ireland Market. The aim is to make sure the A&P budgets are supervised thru excellent partner management.
Ireland is the home of Guinness and majority of the activities are planned around that brand so the market is mainly focused on Beer business. This role's main partner is the Head of Marketing Finance and the Business Support Manager and also the marketing organization's A&P budget managers.
Main responsibilities:
- Support monthly management reporting processes, including various BPM reports, landing report, O&R, Extended WC, cash flow reporting, forecasting, and preparation of review meeting decks
- Build positive relationships with senior partners, providing timely reporting and strategic planning support
- Prepare and submit the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
- Act as a finance business partner, leading day-to-day financials, driving performance, and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Ensure completeness of profit center/market figures and continuously supervise P&L accounts for inconsistencies
- Build accurate forecasts based on trends and partner information
- Support finance processes with detailed analysis as needed
- Partner with In-market Finance, FC team, and business divisions to drive performance through financial expertise and insights
- Deliver timely information, insights, and forecasting
- Resolve sophisticated problems.
About you
- Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
- Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
- 4-5 years' experience in relevant area
- Strong accounting experience
- Good accounting knowledge
- Experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment
- Experience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantage
- Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
- Proficient English knowledge
