About the role
The Key Account Manager Retail will have direct accountability and ownership for Diageo Netherlands' biggest grocery customers like Jumbo, Plus, and Superunie HQ, which play a pivotal role in the delivery of the channel and overall business.

You'll lead a strategic and differentiated customer joint business plan in this role. You will be instrumental in delivering Category and Consumer-led initiatives across the total Diageo portfolio to provide win-win-win solutions for Diageo, customers, and shoppers.

Top Accountabilities
Responsibility for customer performance against financial targets & execution standards
- Direct management of customer P&L. Deliver customer critical metrics and financials targets. Undertake corrective action if/where needed.
- Demonstrate strong dedication to internal compliance policies.
Build & Implement the customer plans to unlock business growth
- Build, own, and implement joint business plans with the customer. Supervise and ensure execution of agreements.
- Work cross-functionally to build integrated plans, identify new opportunities for incremental business, and proactively turn these ideas into action.
- Negotiate and implement customer contracts.
Excellence in building customer relationships
- Lead strong internal processes for forecasting, commercial planning, and M&E.
- Be responsible for the customer relationship - deliver brilliant customer service at every touch point.
- Ensure Diageo is known as a trustworthy and respected partner.
About you
- Min. 5 years' experience in Key Account Management, FMCG environment is preferred
- Energized in pursuing growth - seeks opportunities with challenges, has short and long-term vision, and adds energy to the team.
- Inventing and influencing come naturally - an idea generator who will lead the business and customer to victory by bringing creative solutions to the table and delivering brilliant execution.
