Global HR Operations (GHRO) is part of Diageo Business Services, providing HR support to 23,000 employees in 70+ countries, worldwide. Services - amongst many others - include Resourcing, On-boarding, Off-boarding Compensation & Reward administration and Payroll.

GHRO is the foundation for Diageo in achieving its HR strategy and is a key enabler in excellent employee & manager experience with people processes.
On-Boarding and Offboarding comprise a set of activities associated with Hire, Mover and Leaver processes, aiming to provide excellent experience for employees as well as simple, trusted services for Line managers.
About the role
Deliver efficient Onboarding and Offboarding process to all Diageo markets and business units.
Interact with HRBPs, employees, Line Managers, Diageo IS, 3rd Party providers and other Global HR Operations teams across the world.
Ensure brilliant and consistent execution of our CE processes, enabling the business to offer excellent employee experience for new hires, movers and leavers in all Diageo markets and functions:
- Drive process improvement and simplification agenda for impacted processes and technologies.
- Initially mentor, later lead a high performing and highly engaged team in multiple locations.
- As a member of the GHRO Leadership team, make a significant contribution to crafting the global Service Delivery landscape
- Work in close partnership with the strategic and business owner of the OnBoarding and Offboarding process to further improve the processes and to enable the local execution of the global standard
- Lead the CE teams in Budapest to enable smooth and efficient processes.
- Develop and retain a high performing and engaged team to deliver 100% compliance and great customer experience.
- Leverage analytics and insights to ensure that agreed Service Level Agreements and KPI's are consistently delivered. Embed continuous improvement.
- Work directly with customer groups, partner with other teams such as Process Governance, Data, etc. and ensure great end-to-end experience for customers.
- Active ambassador for the HR model in the business, holding people to account.
- Raise awareness and boldly demand compliance, with special attention to General Data Protection Rules (GDPR). Deal with compliance breaches according to expected Diageo procedures.
- Actively participate in shaping the global end-to-end HR service delivery offering - work in close partnership with the Global HR Operations leadership team
- Partner in delivering efficiencies in First Point Operations - CE of 10-15% on the Onboarding team in F20 for Non English Markets.
What you will bring
- Proven management experience in HR or in service delivery
- Proven experience with Workday or other HR system operation
- Experience of having successfully engaged, motivated and influenced a variety of stakeholders in multiple geographies and cultures. Able to build credibility and relationships
- Demonstrable track record of successful team management, achieved high performance and engagement levels
- Ability to stay in the future and anticipate customer needs: identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and lead change control
- Ability to find solutions, address barriers and positively galvanise others around you in a context of ambiguity and fast paced change
- A detailed appreciation of how HR processes, data and systems interrelate.
- Resilience and confidence in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, encouraging it in others
- Fluency in English
- Experience working in cross functional and multi-cultural teams
