About Global Mobility at Diageo:
Our Global Mobility programme is fundamental to delivering Diageo's future talent and development ambition with strong focus on business partnering, operational excellence and employee experience.
The Global Mobility team is responsible for the management of cross border mobility of talent within Diageo including international assignments and permanent transfers. Working with the business to deliver a Global Mobility programme which supports business needs, managing operational activity, global vendors and developing strategy and policy.
The role purpose:
Global Mobility Business Partners have the main responsibility for managing international moves within their regions, working with a broad range of collaborators on all Global Mobility (GM) matters. The business partnering aspect of the role includes business consultation, support with international move package design, cost projections, mobility advice and guidance to the business.
The incumbent will be expected to pro-actively advise partners and manage moves across all aspects of GM policy and processes with a strong focus on employee experience.
About the role:
Here's a little more about what you can expect as a Global Mobility Business Partner:
- Delivering a high-quality service to internationally mobile employees and the business, advising and collaborating with the business to align GM activities to future business strategy.
- Responsible for managing all phases of assignment/transfer life-cycle for employees of all levels, including conducting move briefings, documentation and costings, partnering with vendors, systems and payroll.
- Focus on operational excellence and data accuracy.
- The role has global reach, dealing with partners across multiple markets, including talent engagement, reward, tax, payroll and external vendors.
- Provide pro-active advising and advisory partnership across the business on all aspects of GM as the subject matter expert.
- To ensuring that GM policies and processes are followed in a consistent and compliant manner, with active management of exceptions.
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects such as operational efficiency, policy review and technology enhancements.
What are we looking for?
- Global mobility specialist experience primarily in an in-house GM function.
- Good technical knowledge of global mobility, including immigration, tax, systems and payroll.
- Colaberative mentality with strong problem solving skills.
- An adaptable and flexible approach. Able to adjust quickly according to changing demands and priorities, drawing on experience and expertise.
- Ability to build solid relationships at all levels and across diverse cultures, with good stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Experience of using GM and HR systems.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with analytical capability.
- Graduate calibre.
