As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to the be the world's best and most trusted mobility company, Enterprise Fleet Management, an affiliate of Enterprise Mobility is excited to announce the opening of an Engineer 2, DBA in our IT Department! This position will be overseeing the ongoing efforts of our Data Management team! In this position, the Engineer 2, DBA will have responsibility for installing database software, creating new databases, implementation of application/product specific changes and ongoing maintenance of existing DB architecture to support our growing business. This position will also partner closely with other infrastructure and application development teams to ensure that database solutions being developed are supportable and we have strong processes to support our operation. The Data Management team is responsible for the full lifecycle of all database technologies including Oracle, AWS PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, DynamoDB and the Snowflake data platforms.

The IT Team supports a variety of applications that are financial, and employee needs related. The various applications are on platforms including Java/Oracle, AWS, Microsoft SQL Server/.NET, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle BI and Salesforce. This is a full-time work from home position that will allow you to work 100% from your home residence.
Responsibilities
- Support existing PostgreSQL, Oracle, and other AWS databases in our enviornment
- Design and develop new databases, implement application release changes, and maintain existing databases against security vulnerabilities
- Evaluate complex SQLs or PL/SQL for mid to large scale databases
- Work closely with our Application Development teams to ensure the use of documented database standards and SQL best practices during the application development cycle
- Provide data management support, create reports on databases, and support database architectures best suited for our internally developed applications
- Act as a liaison between application and infrastructure teams

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL (Saint Louis Metropolitan Area Only), IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, NV, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience with SQL, data integration, database system design, data management in AWS, and on-premise environment
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in PostgreSQL RDS, DynamoDB databases and tools such as DMS, DBeaver, and SQL Developer
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and perform night and/or weekend maintenance
- Ability to be self-motivated and meet tight deadlines
- Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements
- Must be presently authorized to work in the US and not require sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred Requirements:
- Strong database experience including index strategies, performance tuning/query optimization and experience in creating stored procedures and packages to help support data change needs
- Experience in data analysis, process architectures, and systems analysis methodologies which include Oracle architecture, AWS, Snowflake, CloudFormation, CloudWatch and other similar technologies
- Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, DocumentDB databases, and tools such as SSMS, DBeaver, Toad, OEM, AWS, and Matillion
- Understand complex SQLs or PL/SQLcode for OLTP databases and define opportunity for tuning

- Must have reliable and consistent high-speed internet access provided by a terrestrial cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite)
