The team

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and visibility. Tower responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and visibility on financials for Business Performance Management.

The Role

As a key player in the Voyager project within our Reporting Operations Center of Excellence (CoE), you will:
  • Champion Testing & Implementation: Lead user acceptance (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT) for the successful deployment of Voyager, ensuring FP&A tools align with the organization's evolving needs.
  • Optimize Systems: Coordinate Reporting Operations CoE-owned systems, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and quality. Continuously drive system improvements to support flawlessess reporting, planning, and financial operations.
  • Lead Change & Governance: Serve as an authority on system and process changes for Voyager, collaborating with governance bodies to ensure alignment with Diageo's migration goals.
  • Impact Analysis & Collaboration: Partner with Data & Analytics and project teams to integrate Business-As-Usual (BAU) processes with migration-driven updates, ensuring functionality for all teams post-deployment.


Functional Expertise & Systems Support
  • Finance & Controlling Knowledge: Leverage extensive experience in Finance and Controlling roles, with superuser expertise in SAP, BFC, BW, and MSTR-BPM.
  • Analytical Excellence: Strong attention to detail with a data-driven approach, skilled at presenting findings and driving actionable change.
  • Process Innovation: Continuously evaluate and refine existing practices, introducing innovative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.


Training & Continuous Improvement
  • Empower Users: Develop and deliver training materials, preparing FP&A users for new functionalities and ensuring Voyager system proficiency.
  • Improve Processes: Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification, risk management, and performance improvement while maintaining compliance with CARM and BCP standards.
