Context/Scope:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Experience Tower is part of Global Business Operations and covers a set of planning, forecasting & analytical activities that support business decisions and help understanding of overall financial health by combining financial, operational and external data in one place. It involves supporting strategic planning, leading Annual Operating Planning (AOP), supporting landing, handling performance analysis, and generating insights on strategic market and regional le vel. Tower responsibilities also include ensuring timely, accurate, standardized reporting combined with beneficial analysis. Fast and sharp insights to understand what factors drive business performance with the aim to devise early warning signals to better anticipate risks and help identify growth opportunities, support quick & accurate decision making and act as excellent business partners to achieve financial goals.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Build and maintain value driving relationships across the organisation that support business performance. Hold the business partners to account for the delivery of overhead commitments.
- Mobilize resources to help team to mitigate/course correct risks and uses experience and judgement to actively search for opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management on standard methodologies, O&R, value creation for the team and takes a lead in ensuring that robust processes are in place, policies are followed.
- Guides the team to generate insights into issues quickly, prioritises effectively, develops solutions that drive the business forward and focus on resolving route cause.
- Set the team up for longer term success and work with them in their development areas. Dimensions of the role
- Fully owns delivery of Region's Overhead yearly budget from all aspects
- Manages great variety of senior customers including: Market Regional Finance Director, Market Finance Director, FP&A Managers, In market teams, FC, RFC, as well as occasionally working with Group Finance and other Group Functions on overheads.
Purpose of Role
- Lead & manage OH Team to drive efficient and effective overhead business planning, reporting & analyses.
- Provide management leadership & support to ensure excellent service level & quality.
- Helps the team to develop cost reduction strategies, drive cost savings projects and opportunities with budget owners, play the role of thought partner & functional expert.
- Expert on a specific Overhead category and provides recommendations to achieve efficiency targets/goals.
- Lead compliance & controls in the overhead area, ensures the accuracy and compliance through robust application of policies & procedures, in line with internal and external requirements.
- Continuously improving the quality and efficiency of Overheads based on best practices, ensuring that fit-for-purpose standard operating procedures are in place and e involve as business needs change.
- Having a thorough understanding of the business strategy, advise on financial implications of business decision, provides insight, and ensure that financial implications are carefully considered.
- Provide regular communication, drive overhead review conversations with various levels of management.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
The successful candidate will be expected to take full ownership of the processes and deliverables they are assigned. Including:
- Region 's AOP, O&R ownership and active participation on Monthly Business Performance Management reviews. Work with business in strong partnership to deliver accurate financials.
- Go be yond the numbers using a variety of analytics, data sets to drive insights that focus on opportunities and risks and provoke actions to drive value for the business.
- Regular business updates with senior management
- Develop hard-working overhead team
Qualifications and Experience Required
- University / College Degree in finance / business
- Minimum of 4 years working and management experience in multinational corporate environment, with successful experience in managing and driving change, experienced people manager
- FP&A, management accounting, Overhead cost controlling & reporting processes
- Fluent English knowledge
