Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The FP&A organization is responsible for the interpretation of financial and statutory data, the coordination and management of financial and statutory reporting, the management of the P&L and balance sheet delivering solutions that will increase insight and transparency.

Responsibilities also include ensuring there is a true and fair representation of business performance at the cut-off point for the period and transparency on financials and ESG KPIs for Business Performance Management.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Partner with In-market Finance and Regional team on strategic projects.
  • Partnering with business units and functions to drive business performance through the provision of financial / commercial expertise and insights, whilst owning the delivery of the financial targets and an effective control environment.
  • Partner to the senior level internal stakeholders as well as peers, building great relationships, supporting them with accurate and timely reporting, respond to adhoc requests to ensure robust strategic planning
  • Support the FP&A team, coach and coordinate them
  • Ensure that the policies and procedures are understood and followed in the team and in the market as well


Purpose of the Role:
  • Support improvement initiatives and business transformations projects for the GBO FP&A function by cooperating with end users, D&T and BPM governance teams
  • Perform extensive financial analysis and bring insight to the data from different business dimensions, particularly in the areas of system and process maintenance
  • Ensure delivery of a robust annual plan, monthly performance rhythm and analysis, with special attention to any system aspects
  • Ensure delivering timely information and insights, forecasting, with special attention to any system aspects
  • Generate ad hoc analysis to enable the organization to make high quality decisions.
  • Give guidance within and to other teams as well related to planning & analysis & forecasting,
  • Resolve complex problems independently
  • Lead and coach the team


Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
  • Support monthly management reporting processes by ensuring smooth operation of BPM tool (Daily Sales, VMPC, P&L) and APAC regional Anaplan models (P&L and Cash, D-commerce)
  • Deliver monthly management reporting processes (various BPM reports, landing report, O&R, Extended WC and cash flow reporting and forecasting,) also prepare deck for the related review meetings
  • Play a key role in the preparation and submission of Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan
  • Support improvement initiatives and business transformations projects for the GBO FP&A function by cooperating with end users, D&T and BPM governance teams
  • Support finance processes where business judgement is needed; provide accurate, thorough and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested


Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
  • Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
  • 5-6 years experience in relevant area
  • Strong accounting experience
  • Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
  • Experience in a Shared services environment is considered as an advantage
  • Strong financial / commercial analysis background, proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at varying levels and the ability to flex to different market environments/ cultures
  • Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
  • Fluent English knowledge
