About the team

As an FP&A Lead Analyst, you'll play a key role in running the costs behind how Diageo products are represented globally. From budgeting to forecasting, your work will impact the presence of iconic brands in some of the most exciting locations around the world. About the role
- Act as the finance business partner for the respective business unit(s) (COGS and inventory area)
- Support monthly management reporting processes, including performance reports, landing reports, and forecasts, and prepare decks for review meetings
- Participate in the smooth and accurate month-end close, reporting, and annual planning processes
- Generate insights for business leaders by identifying inefficiencies and highlighting opportunities for improvement
- Deliver timely and insightful information and forecasts to support business decision-making
- Prepare and submit the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of profit center/market figures and continuously supervise P&L accounts (COGS) for inconsistencies
- Build accurate forecasts based on trends and partner inputs
- Provide detailed and timely analysis for finance processes requiring business judgment
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Supply Teams, and the FP&A team to align on financial goals and strategies
- Partner with business divisions and functions to drive performance by providing financial expertise, ensuring delivery of financial targets, and maintaining an effective control environment
- Resolve complex problems and propose solutions for issues as they arise
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance / accounting/ business administration
- 4-5 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience is strongly preferred
- Strong accounting experience
- Good accounting knowledge
- Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment or Shared services environment is considered as an advantage
- Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
- Proficient English knowledge
