About the Function

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and act as a strategic finance business partner to the company top management. We co-pilot the market General Manager and Finance Directors to deliver balanced profitable growth for the company while protecting the company equation and assets.

Global Travel is the area of Diageo looking after the marketing and sales of products in airports and cruises around the world. The role
  • Lead the E2E forecasting and performance management of cash by using robust cash methodology, leveraging data and analytics to improve accuracy, identify areas of opportunity, and drive the business towards cash optimization and continuous improvements
  • Perform extensive financial analysis and bring insight to the data from different business dimensions on Cash for Global Travel market
  • Deliver monthly forecasts for Cash highlighting key Risks & Opportunities to achieve financial targets
  • Play a key role in preparing Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (SP) submissions for Cash
  • Business Partnering with sales, commercial finance, commercial experience, and the cash squad to drive cash performance whilst leading the delivery of the financial targets and an effective control environment. Animate and maintain a proven Risk & Opportunities record for Cash for key periods
  • Lead the Statement of Authority deployment and control for Global Travel on an annual basis and support Balance Sheet analysis and controls monthly
  • Ensure delivery of a robust annual plan, monthly performance rhythm, analysis for Cash, and cash generation
  • Ensure completeness of profit center/market figures for Cash based on identified trends in actuals collected from partners
  • Support the broader FP&A team; mentor and coordinate junior colleagues - Provide mentorship within other teams related to planning, analysis, forecasting


About you
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance / accounting/ business
  • 5-6 years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, and/or Financial Controlling experience with Cash
  • Strong accounting experience
  • Experience in a global FMCG or similar complex operating environment/shared services environment is considered as an advantage
  • Strong financial / commercial analysis background, proven track record to connect with partners at varying levels and the ability to flex to different market environments/ cultures
  • Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision making
  • Proficient English knowledge
