Location: Budapest, Hungary

Contract Term: Full-time or Part-time, Secondment for 6 months

Your Impact
As an FP&A Process SME, you'll play a key role in optimizing our Financial Planning & Analysis processes, ensuring Diageo's financial operations stay at the forefront of standard processes. Supporting the FP&A Global Process Excellence Lead, you'll work closely with senior finance leaders, advising on strategic decisions, and driving significant changes across our global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Automation: Identify and lead initiatives to eliminate manual journals and automate processes. You'll be instrumental in minimizing inefficiencies, ensuring smoother and faster reporting across regions.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with Market Finance Directors and other partners to communicate and implement process changes. You'll provide crucial training, ensuring alignment and support.
  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct thorough impact analyses on proposed changes, ensuring feasibility across markets and identifying alternatives where vital
  • Process Documentation: Build clear, detailed process documentation, ensuring new workflows are fully understood and seamlessly integrated into team routines
  • Weekly Updates: Keep the project team advised with regular progress reports, making sure all stakeholders stay aligned and connected.


What You'll Bring:
  • Education & Expertise: Master's or Bachelor's degree in finance or business, with a deep understanding of FP&A processes
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret sophisticated data, derive insights, and communicate these optimally to various partners
  • Stakeholder Management: You're skilled at building alliances and gaining support for strategic changes, especially within finance and cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability & Initiative: A flexible, self-motivated professional who can thrive in a dynamic environment and becomes comfortable with shifting priorities
