About the role:
We are looking for a Talent Engagement Leader for Supply Chain & Procurement, Europe. This role reports into the Global Head of Talent Engagement and sits on global Talent Engagement (TE) leadership team and is a member of the extended HR Team for Supply Chain & Procurement (SC&P). The position takes full accountability for TE planning & strategy, employer brand activation, and recruitment delivery across SC&P Europe. The role has key partners within the SC&P Executive Team as well as senior leaders across the region.
Role Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and optimize the Talent Engagement function to align with business initiatives, ensuring timely strategic hires that enhance Diageo's organizational culture.
- Inclusion & Diversity: Infuse I&D principles into Talent Engagement practices to manage tangible outcomes.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish a metric driven approach using data for informed decision-making.
- Partnerships: Build strong partnerships by delivering Talent Engagement insights to business leaders and developing strategies addressing evolving business needs.
- Team Development: Lead and develop the Europe Supply Chain & Procurement Talent Engagement team fostering continuous growth.
Experience / skills required: (TE)
- Extensive experience in leading Talent Engagement teams with a comprehensive understanding of recruitment processes.
- Proven track record as a business-focused leader using recruitment strategies to support strategic growth ambitions and DEI breakthroughs
- Trusted advisor to senior leadership with expertise in formulating effective talent strategies.
- Proficient in using Talent Engagement systems, applications, and analytics within dynamic industries such as Consumer Products Goods (CPG)
- Skills and attitude to support across high volume hiring to specialised and senior roles
- Forward-thinking with a drive for celebrating ongoing successes both personally and within teams.
- Innovative approach - bringing fresh ideas while respecting current successful practices.
- Comfortable working under pressure prioritizing effectively amidst ambiguity.
- Operates from a global perspective considering broader business impacts.
- Committed to embedding inclusive practices enhancing representation across all levels.
