This role is a full time position in the Tanqueray team, however the first 6 months will be appointed to work on one of our most iconic brands, Johnnie Walker, to support the team on delivering game-changing projects.

For the first six months of your appointment, you will drive, shape and project manage Johnnie Walker's brand plans based on consumer, customer and shopper insights, building brand equity and helping to drive:
  • Recruitment - both from a customer and consumer perspective.
  • Scale - in all commercial elements of the brands, building strong relationships with the commercial teams on the ground to deliver above and beyond the annual operating plan.
  • Fame - making Johnnie Walker the most talked about whisky. You will collaborate with the Global Brand Teams, multiple (digital) agencies, cross-functional teams and partners to deliver on our salience and brand meaning objectives.
  • Omni channel thinking - the ability to see, find and trigger associated memories at different touch points in the consumer journey, building through the line campaigns that ultimately result in success at the point of purchase.


Top Accountabilities include:
  • Perfect launch execution of JW's newest innovation:
    • Lead cross-agency teams in developing and localising brand communication, ensuring best in class execution in an omni-channel environment.
    • Position Johnnie Walker in culture, building 360, fully integrated brand partnership plans across our region to be activated in on and off-trade (incl. events) and amplified in media.
    • Collaborate effectively with market teams (Customer Activation & Commercial) and innovation leads to deliver our growth ambition
  • Responsible for Johnnie Walker's (luxury) portfolio, incl. Blue Label activations, portfolio renovations and future LTO's.
  • First point of contact for one of our market teams. Understand and respond to the drivers of our brand performance in market, to deliver the annual operating plan.
  • In charge of internal engagement program.


About you
  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience
  • Demonstrated brilliant execution across various pillars of brand building including innovation, experience in on-trade and third space events is a plus.
  • Existing capability to build meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect
  • Successful management of key partners, resulting in positive outcomes
  • Agile, and comfortable with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment
  • Deep personal accountability for performance
  • Strong commercial and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • German language is desirable
  • Passion for the drinks' category, and our purpose "celebrating life, everyday, everywhere"
