About this role
You will be responsible for:
- Build Singleton as top single malt brand in China
- Work with the line manager and multiple functional teams to develop growth strategies and annual Marketing Business Plan (MBP) for The Singleton in China, including brand positioning, marketing plan (through ATL and BTL).
- Hold the accountability of executing a range of marketing activities, and adapt the global growth drivers into local ones, including innovation launch, PR, Digital and social plans, KOL engagement, partnership and sponsorships, BTL activation and consumer promotion.
- Track competitive activities (e.g. PR & digital activation, competitive brand health, new brands/innovations, new brand communications initiatives) and understand competition at market level, and identify opportunities and challenges for action.
- Synergize the Global Brand team resources by closely co-working with global brand team to leverage and adapt global brand assets, and be the gatekeeper of brand assets usage in different channels.
- Work with cross function teams including finance, consumer planning, customer marketing (regional and central), innovation, e-commerce team, commercial team, innovation team, to develop growth drivers and brand assets to seize different business opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management/marketing in FMCG; Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills.
- Strong business acumen with external focus. Professional in marketing event/campaign initiation, planning and execution, with agencies.
- Experienced in budget planning and management. Basic financial capability is required, e.g. P&L and value chain development.
- A good team player with strong communication skills to influence both internal and external counterparts.
- Self-motivated and willing to push the boundary to hold others' accountability; Chinese native speaker with fluent English ability. Passionate on international spirits industry and marketing.
- As Senior Product Manager, you will be key in advancing the power of analytics throughout our business.
- As an evangelist for the power of data, you will develop products to enable us to make decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata.
