Overview

The Chief Information Security Office (CISO) is responsible for addressing information security risks to the Deutsche Bank global IT. As a DevSecOps SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) Engineer, you will play a key technical role in our SIEM Engineering team within the security monitoring and remediation pillar. You will serve as a technical expert for our current SIEM solutions like Chronicle and Sentinel responsible to manage the Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deploy new features and enhance the platform.

What You'll Do
  • Engineer, implement& supportSIEM platforms (Chronicle and Sentinel)
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain IaC scripts and templates to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources and SIEM configurations
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new cloud technologies and best practices to optimize infrastructure performance and cost

Skills You'll Need
  • Extensive experience in IT required, with a focus on cloud security and SIEM solutions
  • In-depth in managing and deploying cloud infrastructure through terraform
  • Experience with GCP and Azure cloud platforms and securing cloud-based applications and services
  • Sentinel or Chronicle SIEM experience
  • Strong experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment or development pipelines, and automation tools

Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Relevant cloud certifications: AZ-400, AZ-500, SC-200, Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer GCP, Terraform Associate
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
  • Expertise in Git version control, including advanced repository management and GitHub Actions workflow configuration and familiarity with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and passionate about cyber security and the aptitude to identify and solve security problems

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Arlington office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Arlington or remote is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
