The Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst plays a key role in leading complex regulatory and compliance initiatives to ensure the organization meets all legislative and regulatory requirements. This role provides expert guidance, conducts in-depth competitor and industry analysis, and partners cross-functionally to navigate compliance challenges in an evolving regulatory landscape. The analyst also serves as a strategic liaison between the business and external regulatory agencies, driving consistency, timeliness, and compliance across the enterprise.
This hybrid position requires in-office presence in either our Georgia, Pennsylvania, or Northern California office, for meaningful events such as town halls, team collaboration, volunteering, and team-building activities.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor regulatory compliance analysts in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, audits, surveys, and multi-state filings related to products, networks, rates, and entities.
- Collaborate with and influence business teams to shape regulatory filing strategies, including form, rate, network, and entity filings.
- Conduct complex research and analysis of state-specific regulations, legislation, mandates, and filing requirements to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain regulatory compliance programs, including oversight and monitoring processes.
- Engage cross-functionally to drive execution of deliverables, ensure transparency, and align with subject matter experts.
- Analyze regulatory findings and objections, prepare concise communications for impacted business areas, and assist with response development.
- Communicate state-specific regulatory changes effectively to business teams, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Report on regulatory compliance performance, including key metrics, risks, and program effectiveness, to key stakeholders.
- Partner with business teams to develop procedures and implement new products that align with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- Support compliance enforcement by developing and implementing internal monitoring and auditing tools, and conducting compliance audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in regulatory compliance.
- Health insurance regulatory experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, compliance, audit, and risk management functions.
- Familiarity with insurance terminology and regulatory filing processes.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience working with regulatory filing portals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Working knowledge of legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw) and SharePoint.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to mobilize teams and drive results without direct authority.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions with incomplete data.
- Strategic and innovative thinking, leveraging lessons from past successes to drive continuous improvement.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications, and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 20. $71,400 - $149,500
