As a senior member of the Legal Shared Services team, the Senior Legal Affairs Solutions Analyst is pivotal in delivering the Legal Affairs Division's platform roadmap. The position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive governance, risk management, and compliance solutions that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory obligations. This role integrates project management, reporting, and business analysis principles to scope and execute projects across various functional areas. The position requires a deep understanding of the operations and technology used by the Legal Affairs Division, actively participating in identifying current issues and future needs. The Senior Legal Affairs Solutions Analyst serves as the power user and subject matter expert for the team's supported platforms, including the GRC application, while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff in the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and support core applications to meet the business needs of the Legal Affairs Division and the enterprise, ensuring scalability as the organization grows
  • Utilize adaptable communication skills to translate between technical and business language, collaborating effectively and negotiating requirements across multiple groups.
  • Operate and assess the Legal Affairs Division's workflow, identifying procedures to enhance overall efficiency. Oversee process development and documentation for new or modified functionality or business processes.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, deepen client relationships, and manage customer expectations effectively. Work directly with stakeholders to assist with their business reporting and operations inquiries.
  • Plan, oversee, and lead all aspects of large, complex projects from ideation to completion within budget and scope. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements.
  • Collect and transform large volumes of data into impactful business insights, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans to improve key performance metrics.
  • Analyze, create tests, and develop the operating model for implementation.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ w/Bachelor's degree

Additional Experience
  • Preferred 5+ years solution analysis or relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Proficiency in configuring and enhancing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with process and data-driven analysis using common industry frameworks.
  • Expertise in analyzing and documenting complex business processes using process modeling tools such as Visio and Office 365.
  • Effective facilitation skills to elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities to drive outcomes in complex, ambiguous work environments.
  • Innovative and strategic thinking, demonstrated by challenging conclusions, identifying assumptions and biases, and making decisions with incomplete data.
  • Ability to collaborate, mobilize others, and influence without authority by building trust and communicating effectively.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 20. $71,400 - $149,500
