As a Senior Brand Designer, you will drive the conceptualization and execution of creative strategies that enhance our brand presence across social and digital platforms. Specializing in brand, social media, and campaign development, you will craft visually compelling content that engages our audiences and strengthens brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop storyboards and visual narratives for social media, incorporating graphics, videos, animations, and interactive elements to maximize engagement.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Maintain and evolve Social Media brand guidelines and templates, to ensure consistency in visual identity and messaging across creative execution between teams.
  • Partner with internal teams — including Brand + Creative, Marketing, and Social/Digital teams — to ensure seamless creative alignment across brand initiatives.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to designers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence.
  • Contribute to the ideation of concepts through participation in brainstorms, workshops, and team meetings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with a diverse mix of teams, balancing the needs of stakeholders and always seeking opportunities to elevate the work and craft of visual communication and campaign pitching.
  • Maintain expertise in social media best practices, platform-specific communication trends, and evolving asset formats to optimize creative output.
  • Understanding of social media best practices and the communication landscape of the different platforms and asset types.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand design, social media marketing, and campaign creation.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma - experience with video editing software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual communication.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, collaboration, interpretation, and communication abilities, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively – a team player who enjoys supporting colleagues in bringing their ideas to life.
  • A portfolio showcasing strong conceptual thinking and execution across various visual formats, including branding, campaign design, and social media assets.
  • Excellent aesthetic sensibilities, with the ability to consistently adapt to the tone, style, and medium required of the project at-hand. Able to receive and incorporate creative feedback and notes in a positive, constructive, and timely manner.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining high creative standards.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 20. $71,400 - $149,500
