Work you'll do:
This role focuses on providing expert technical guidance, solution architecture, customization, and system integration for D365 F&O projects. The consultant will work closely with functional teams and clients to ensure that the technical solution meets business requirements while adhering to best practices. This role requires extensive knowledge of D365 F&O as well as the ability to develop, configure, and integrate complex solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of technical solutions for Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Customize and configure Dynamics 365 F&O to meet specific client requirements, including modifying workflows, forms, reports, and system logic.
- Develop extensions using X++, Visual Studio, and other Microsoft tools to tailor the application to client needs.
- Lead the integration of D365 F&O with other enterprise systems, third-party applications, and external data sources.
- Write custom code in X++, C#, and other programming languages to extend D365 F&O functionality.
- Oversee and manage data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions for improved efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and technical team members, providing coaching on best practices and technical problem-solving.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Dynamics 365 and Microsoft technologies and recommend improvements based on new features and evolving business requirements.

Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
- Implementation experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP systems, including a minimum of 1 full life cycle Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementations.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Active Microsoft Dynamics Certification.
- Experience in State, Local, or Higher Education.
- Experience with PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) Development.
- Experience using the Dynamics SDK to develop plug-ins, workflows, business processes, and batch processes such as the Data Management Framework.
