Work you'll do:

Specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, you will be responsible for understanding the client's business, modeling their processes into the ERP, and leveraging the product's strengths to meet requirements and bridge gaps to bring value. You will manage end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O, design end-to-end solutions, and provide industry best practices while interacting daily with your counterparts. Additionally, you will play a key role in building the company's tools and assets, improving delivery processes, selecting software and ISVs, and training on new versions and tools to keep your knowledge sharp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and model client business processes into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Manage end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O.
  • Design end-to-end solutions and provide industry best practices.
  • Interact daily with client counterparts.
  • Build company tools and assets.
  • Improve delivery processes.
  • Select software and ISVs.
  • Train on new versions and tools.
  • Provide deep domain expertise in one or more vertical industries.
  • Establish credibility with customers and prospects.
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging platforms and products.
  • Lead project workstreams, including planning, design sessions, configuration, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Maintain documentation and statistics on workstream progress.
  • Oversee workstream testing activities.
  • Manage Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions related to your team.

Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
  • Implementation experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP systems, including a minimum of 1 full life cycle Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 AX.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
