  • Design and modernize large scale data and analytics programs that promote organizational intelligence, provide embedded capacity, and implement as-a-service based subscription models at scale
  • Enable day-to-day operations, maintenance and ongoing enhancements of their data platforms and applications as well as managing and governing the underlying data leveraging standardized, automated and AI enabled Data Ops capabilities
  • Mature their AI and Analytics journey with fluid capacity and flexible capability of AI and Analytics experts complemented with experience hardened assets and curated data sets to experiment with AI and scale their AI and Analytics ambitions

Work You'll Do

Collaborating amongst team members across several geographies, as a Data Engineer you will design and implement data ingestion, integration & curation pipelines and ecosystems for the enablement and modernization of data warehouses, lakes and meshes leveraging packaged or custom technologies. Use your Life Science & Healthcare industry experience to design and develop industry focused assets.

As a Manager, you will lead and deliver small engagements, or components of large, complex engagements that identify, design and implement creative business and technology solutions for our clients. Using a combination of direct management and hands-on delivery, you will craft solutions for clients, guide and oversee the quality of your team's deliverables and recommendations, as well as manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships. Managers also contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities (to include, the development and presentation of proposals), and own responsibility for the development of junior staff.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of relevant Life Sciences & Healthcare data analytics consulting experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines
  • 1+ years experience introducing technologies - such as GenAI/AI/ML and automation - into existing lifecycles and business processes
  • 5+ years consulting experience leading, managing and delivering cloud-based data and analytics technology engagements end-to-end with resources in multiple locations
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Experience with emerging technologies (such as GenAI) and advanced data architectures (ie: Multimodal data management & model design, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Products, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Service (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Ability to understand and communicate client strategic business drivers and operational process requirements AND link specific business requirements to AI & Data capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience with both the sales cycle, by participating in framing out client opportunities, and the pursuit team creating proposal content for client discussions
  • Ability to create critical collaterals for client workshops and customer interactive sessions
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
  • Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of strategic engagements for large global organization
  • An advanced degree in an area of specialization
