  • Supporting project management and support services for innovative business improvement projects
  • Creating strategic communication products for senior leadership and workforce reporting
  • Communicating with Program Managers and POCs from customer organizations when necessary
  • Developing materials for program management coaching to help innovation project owners succeed. This includes reviewing, shaping, aligning, facilitating, providing pitch coaching, and incubating bottom-up innovation projects through various mediums such as innovation campaigns, open calls, and leadership-directed tasking
  • Conducting research activities, draw connections between latest regulations/policies and acquisition management gaps, and formulate logical justifications for potential pilots or prototypes
  • Supporting the building, testing, and maintaining various project management tools and templates on a routine basis, and support the decommissioning or updating of outdated tools or templates
  • Developing and tracking key success metrics by setting up data collection processes, monitoring project impact and status, generating reports, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals to guide decision-making and improve innovation processes.

Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.

The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration or similar
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Must be able to support onsite in-office in Los Angeles (El Segundo) 4-5x a week
  • 2+ years of experience in leading or supporting in business process improvement, innovation, program management, modernization, and transformation projects
  • 2+ years of familiarity and experience with agile methodologies and data-driven insights to lead teams, execute innovation initiatives, deliver business solutions, and drive workforce culture change
  • 2+ years of proven proficiency in program management tools

Preferred:

  • Experience project management frameworks and methodologies, innovation and design thinking frameworks,
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies, strategic communication plans, workshop facilitation, and skills coaching
  • Proficient analytical skills with experience in analyzing data and providing strategic recommendations
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative solutions, and identify and mitigate risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Understanding of leading commercial practices for innovation management

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $68,000 to $102,000.
