Work you will do
As a Workday Manager within Managed Services you'll have overall responsibility for Workday support for the client and will exhibit strong collaboration skills with an ability to balance and maintain constructive relationships with various stakeholders. You will provide leadership and model the client's objectives and values to both the support team and stakeholders. The scope of the role includes supporting RFP responses, conducting discovery labs with clients, planning and managing support teams, managing delivery of support projects, onshore/offshore team coordination, and creating sales opportunities within existing support models utilizing new enhancements and improvements. Representation of responsibilities:
- Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
- Delivery: Manage and deliver Workday managed service engagements end to end. Accountable for all client service delivery related activities including stakeholder management, team management, reporting, escalation and communication management.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
- People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
- Oversee Workday Support in collaboration with various Functional Owners, including FIN & SCM leaders
- Maintain close coordination with Function Owners and optimally balance the workload across staff, technology and applications
- Lead the Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and resolves priority issues with business and relevant IT leadership
- Champion data security working with Security Leads to verify cross application security policies are in place and followed
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of consulting or industry experience
- 8+ years of ERP production support
- 4+ years experience Workday Financials
- Implementation experience on 2+ projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Experience in proposal development such as sizing for Workday
- Work with teams across geographies, both national and international, to deliver Application Support for clients.
- 5+ years of experience with ITSM processes, Service Level Agreements and KPIs
- Drive SLA adherence and engage actively with clients to help achieve KPI's
- Workday certification
- Functional knowledge of ERP Financial or Supply Chain processes and systems
- Advanced degree in the area of specialization
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $131,175 to $218,625.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
