Position Summary

As a leader of our Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in defining new lab informatics products and delivering them at our Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in laboratory workflows, experience with LIMS/ELN, and a deep understanding of lab instruments, data modalities, and research processes. You and your team will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from collaborating with client stakeholders and internal product teams to building and implementing advanced lab informatics solutions at our life science clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery:

  • As the Services Manager, you will drive the end-to-end design and delivery of lab informatics solutions, ensuring successful delivery within client timelines, budgets, and expectations.
  • Own and manage technical discovery efforts that seek to understand the customer's current landscape and challenges.
  • Leverage expertise in lab data types (e.g., assay data, imaging data, multi-omics data) to design data pipelines and integration strategies to solve client challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership and best practices in managing lab data across diverse instruments and platforms.
  • Assess and optimize laboratory workflows for LSHC and pharma clients to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Lead a multi-functional and multi-geography team across the project lifecycle to delivery and implement solutions that optimizes client's lab environments.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to define project scope, develop roadmaps, and establish key performance metrics.
  • Establish clear communication channels and status reporting mechanism to keep internal teams, client stakeholders informed on project progress.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in lab informatics, data science, and digital transformation to drive innovation in client engagements.
  • Hands-on involvement in delivering with early-stage clients to ensure the successful implementation, adoption, and long-term support of our product.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Product Support:

  • Bring insights from the field back to our product teams and inform and influence product roadmap for market success.
  • Contribute to ongoing product research and development efforts, leveraging client feedback and market trends to enhance our lab informatics solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, master's in computational biology, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in delivering laboratory informatics solutions within biotech, pharma, or consultancy settings.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing LIMS, ELN, and similar laboratory informatics systems.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, instruments and data modalities, including flow cytometry, genomics, proteomics, and other advanced analytical tools.
  • Proven track record of integrating lab instruments and data systems to streamline workflows and enable cross-platform data utilization.
  • Deep understanding of lab data types (e.g., structured, unstructured, assay data, imaging data) and data management strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud-native technologies.
  • Technical fluency and a general comfort operating in a techno-functional role where you can leverage high-level familiarity with tech concepts (cloud, analytics, data science, etc.) to offer perspectives on how various technical approaches can help address the business/functional challenges our team is tasked with solving.
  • Knowledge of automation and AI/ML applications in lab informatics.
  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives focused on laboratory environments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 137,700 to $ 229,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
