Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Drive the evaluation of technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. Gain exposure to multiple industries and service lines while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by engagement follow-on opportunities.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires two years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing custom software applications, using Salesforce Lightning Platform, Lightning App Builder, Omnistudio, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura framework, and integration tools for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC);
  • Converting business requirements into development models, using case diagrams, sequence diagrams, Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams, flow charts, UI wireframes, and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) to visualize and plan development projects ensuring deliverables fully align with business goals and requirements;
  • Leveraging a suite of automation tools, including Process Builder, Screen flows, Record Triggered flows, Workflows, Apex Triggers, Approval Process, Batch Apex, and Scheduled Jobs, and developing and launching automation solutions to streamline business processes and boost productivity;
  • Delivering and deploying end-to-end custom application development services for clients, including prototyping, code development, modularization, unit testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment, utilizing Copado, Flossum, Salesforce Command Line Interface (CLI), and Salesforce Developer Experience (SFDX) to ensure efficient and accurate software development and deployment;
  • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployment, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues, utilizing Visual Studio Code, Omnistudio, ANT Migration Tool, Salesforce Change Sets, Copado, Salesforce Workbench, ServiceNow, Jira, and Team Foundation Server (TFS);
  • Performing data cleansing, data loading and conversion, and interface design, using Salesforce Data Loader, Dataloader.io, Salesforce Inspector, Salesforce Workbench, InVision, and Figma;
  • Handling order management issues in Charles River trading platform used for asset and wealth management, utilizing Charles River Investment Management System, Control-M, Eclipse, and Oracle DB;
  • Resolving technical issues and incidents to ensure uninterrupted system and application operations, maintaining extensive documentation to build a knowledge base, collaborating with cross-functional teams to expedite issue resolution by adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA), and continuously monitoring system performance and capacity to proactively address potential bottlenecks and scalability challenges, using Jira and ServiceNow.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
