Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, and Project, Atlassian Jira, and Trello;
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Jenkins, Code Repositories, and Fluxx Grant Management System;
• Developing domain classes and database access methods using Structured Query Language (SQL), and MS Visual Studio;
• Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visualizations of data trends, and data models by utilizing Statistical Analysis System (SAS), and MS PowerBI (Business Intelligence), in order to support business and functional requirements within the Education and Financial industries;
• Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases and issues utilizing Azure DevOps, and Jira;
• Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development utilizing Statistical Analytical System (SAS), SQL, and Python; and
• Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing GitHub, Azure DevOps, Code Validation, and Sonar.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
