DaVita is currently seeking a Vice President of Home Modalities to join our Northeast operating team, Avanti. The Northeast operating group includes 480+ dialysis centers and hospital partnerships located in PA, NY, NJ, CT, MA, ME, RI, and NH with over 5,500 teammates. The Vice President of Home Modalities will be responsible for setting a strategic vision for each market through which they will accomplish business growth in the home modalities - peritoneal and home hemodialysis.

This role will support the business through top down strategy, leadership and vision setting and general management across the 4 pillars of the business: clinical, growth, retention/engagement, and operational efficiency. A clinical background is not required.

Position Location: Candidate may be located in any state within the Avanti Territory (PA, NY, NJ, CT, MA, ME, RI, NH)

Why home dialysis? Patients who choose home hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis can dialyze from the comfort of home, giving them better control of their treatment schedules, more time for themselves, their families, their jobs and the activities they enjoyed before starting dialysis. Patients may also see improved clinical outcomes over the chronic, or in-center setting. Payers and the integrated care system see Home as a critical strategy for improving outcomes and reducing costs to the system. What You'll Own

Creating and Driving a Strategic Vision for Growth
  • Ability to create, mobilize and inspire a vision for your team in pursuit of growing the home modality
  • Develop geographic level strategic growth and execution plans
  • Communicates geographic level strategic growth plan to Division Home Directors, Division Vice Presidents and key stakeholders
  • Source and develop relationships to expand home program with external stakeholders such as hospital boards, payors or other partners in healthcare
  • Develop internal relationships with key internal stakeholders
What You'll Be Accountable For
  • Increasing growth in the home modalities - peritoneal and home hemodialysis
  • Accountable to clinical outcomes, growth, retention and engagement and operational efficiency
  • Accountable for overall maintenance and growth of hospital partnerships
  • Owning your results which you'll communicate and share with DaVita's senior leadership; including Group Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents
  • Partnering with Acutes/ Hospital Services team to strengthen hospital partnerships related to modality education and Home activities
  • Setting and meeting financial budget formulation across the U.S.
  • Teammate development: actively develop home leadership bench strength and create robust succession planning
  • Compliance/ Risk Management: uphold compliance expectations for all DaVita policies, audits, corrective actions, training and programs in accordance with State and Federal regulations for patient care services

Required Qualifications
  • 10 years' of progressive management experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial openness and ability to explore new possibilities and to approach issues differently; a visionary; intellectually agile.
  • Demonstrated positive results in driving operational impact at an enterprise level
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, while driving towards clarity and solutions
  • Demonstrated capabilities in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems, delivering results across all
  • Operational acumen and strong relationship management; you'll interact with physicians and teammates at various levels
  • Ability to influence and understand different points of view to drive change
