Support Business Analyst 1
General Purpose of the Job
The Support Business Analyst - Level 1 will analyze the highest-escalated issues in production and begin the process of root cause analysis. This involves reviewing functional specifications and comparing intended behavior with the actual behavior of the application, and the expectations of the end user.
The Support Business Analyst - Level 1 will work with other Support Business Analysts, Developers, QA analysts, and Product Managers in aiding troubleshooting and resolution. This role involves analysis of complex technical systems combined with understanding the perspectives of our end users and business stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Root cause analysis, including but not limited to:
- Recreating issues for troubleshooting
- Analyzes the system architecture, code, and data
- Documenting steps to reproduce
- Reviews issues affecting IT applications in order to determine if the behavior matches what is intended in the requirements
- Identifying potential enhancements.
Education and Experience
- 2-6 years' experience in business analyst role
- Bachelors Degree required.
- 4-6 years' experience in large-scale application development
- Experience as a developer or business analyst
- Customer service mindset
- Highly organized
