GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Sr Finance Manager - Information Technology will work as part of the IT Finance team directly accountable to the Sr Finance Director of IT within DaVita's Corporate Finance department. You will lead, develop, and grow a team of analysts to help in creating and maintaining financial transparency, identifying and realizing cost savings, driving performance efficiencies, and ensuring that IT investments and strategy are aligned to enterprise-wide objectives. You will also help build and run a technology business management (TBM) methodology and reporting to become a thought partner in helping Sr Executives understand and intelligently drive DaVita's technology spend. Under limited supervision, this position will ensure timely financial information is provided across the organization, and partner in providing ad-hoc financial analysis for the IT teams.

- Strong foundation in quantitative concepts (e.g. financial, statistical, forecasting, etc.)
- Ability to simplify complex or ambiguous financial, business and operational problems through hypotheses-based analytical frameworks
- Desire to challenge status quo, ask provocative questions, and develop recommendations
- Knack for quickly internalizing how business processes work and the role that people play within the Village
- Deliver on-time, accurate, and meaningful reporting and insights to help drive strategic decision making by our senior executives
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, identifying and acting on most important business problems to solve
- Drive actionable recommendations from synthesis of insights that push partners to differential results or new strategies
- Appropriately manage potential roadblocks proactively identifying, communicating, and solving issues
- Prioritize communications to focus on most critical information with a bias towards action
- Contribute to effective communication including insights and progress towards results
- Contribute to a team environment of trust and learning with multi-directional feedback
- Partner with IT leaders, other Corporate finance teams as well as Accounting and other stakeholders to drive results and maintain credibility

- Ability to quickly act on tactical feedback and develop over time
- 3-5 years of related financial manager experience including managing, developing, and growing a team
- Bachelor's Degree in a similar field to Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
- Master's Degree, CPA, CMA, or similar is a plus

- Experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and willingness to learn new software and advanced skills
- Working knowledge of large data sets and how to combine data is a plus
- Expertise with financial and economic analysis, processes and terminology
- Ability to effectively collaborate with other functional areas to achieve the overall DaVita Mission
- Intellectually curious, strong desire to learn, and comfortable working in an ambiguous environment

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
