Sr. Integration Engineer
Job Description
The Sr. Integration Engineer will be an important member of the DaVita Physician Solutions team. This position will be responsible for real time integrations with external systems as well as importing historical clinical information from legacy EHR systems. For real time integrations the position will evaluate, build, test and support HL7-based interface projects with third-party vendors. The role will range from analysis of data requirements to project management to ensure that projects are delivered for customers on time with high quality. For historical data transfer the position will design, build, and implement data conversion processes and tools using custom scripting and industry-standard tools. This position will also mentor more junior members of the team.

Essential Functions
Interfaces Support/Maintenance: Ensure that all existing interfaces 40%
are functioning as designed and meeting the needs of the nephrology practices. Interfaces must be constantly monitored for errors, which must be resolved quickly. Position will be responsible for modifying these interfaces as needed based on requests from Epic, DaVita, vendors, and/or practices. Coordinate with the DaVita Application Integration team as needed.
Interfaces Development: Collect requirements, designs, builds, 40%
implements, and tests the interfaces with external systems using Epic
and the InterSystems Health Connect Cloud interface engine.
Will work closely with our Project Manager and the DaVita Application Integration team to deliver the interfaces on time and with high quality.
Process and Tooling Improvements: Assess current processes to 10%
suggest improvements to management. Evaluate and suggest tools that may help the team deliver and support integrations with external systems.
Team Development: Mentor more junior team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 6-8 years relevant experience required

Up to 5% travel, nights and weekends as needed.

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment
Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic). Physical Demand

- Ability to lift a minimum of 5 lbs to a max of 50 lbs unassisted and able to stand, sit stoop, walk, stretch, reach, and use full range of body motions.
- Manual dexterity as required for specific equipment and ability to use computer keyboard and peripherals.
