Sr Business Analyst - Technology Business Management

Join our Village as a Senior Business Analyst to support the Digital Product team and our Technology Business Management initiative. You will be responsible for supporting the Apptio Targetprocess application via tool configuration, business and data analysis, and reporting. In addition, as a member of the Digital Product Operations, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the "DaVita Product Way", which creates best practices for product ways of working and operations with human-centered design, speed to value, and alignment to prioritized business and clinical objectives at its core. We are seeking an individual that possesses the following skills and experience: Apptio Targetprocess configuration, knowledge of the software development lifecycle, business and data analysis, report analysis, ability to work in a Product and Project model, and ability act as act as a liaison to other departments such as IT, Clinical Enterprise, and Business Operations.

To be successful, the Senior Business Analyst must have a solid background in product management, software development, data management, report preparation, business analysis, and project management. Additionally, we expect a candidate to be a highly skilled Excel user who is familiar with PowerPoint. This position requires someone with an understanding for broader business analytics and problem solving.

  • Perform vendor management activities as needed
  • Understanding of Release Management processes
  • Familiarity with Incident and Ticket management
  • Knows how to find data and data owners
  • Expertise in data analysis and validation
  • Report design and configuration
  • Analysis of business requirements into technical solutions
  • Technical analysis expertise

  • Understands software development practice
  • Data design expertise
  • Provide end user support
  • Streamlining business processes and improve efficiencies where possible
  • Preparing regular status reports and other communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Concurrently manage several parallel projects and initiatives
  • Ability to think critically, ask good questions, rapidly acquire, synthesize and internalize knowledge from past projects, and employ such knowledge in new initiatives
Qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience with Apptio tools
  • Ability to provide multi-level reporting and communication
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with Executive leaders
  • Proven track record in meeting and accomplishing goals
  • Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Innovative approach to problem solving
  • Strong inter-personal skills for interacting with managers at all levels and ability to perform effectively both in independent and team-based work environment
  • Vision and drive to go beyond the call of duty, anticipate the next step and do it without prompting
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to accept high levels of personal responsibility and commitment, initiative, and perseverance
Preferred:
  • A background in software development, consulting, or finance
  • Prior healthcare industry experience a plus
Language Skills

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment

Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic).
