Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Stakeholder Marketing and Engagement will work alongside a high-performing team to drive strategy, execution, and innovation across market research and campaign development targeting physician stakeholders - existing and prospective. This role is integral to positioning DaVita as the partner of choice with nephrologists at both the national and local levels. The ideal candidate will combine visionary leadership, a strong background in marketing and digital strategy, and deep healthcare market knowledge to drive impactful campaigns and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development and Leadership:
- Play a leading role in the Partner of Choice (physician engagement) team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Define and execute growth strategies aligned with DaVita's mission and business objectives, specifically to be the partner of choice to nephrologists.
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to bolster our brand, raise awareness of our services, and foster growth for the business.
- Conduct market research and segmentation studies to understand physician stakeholder needs, influence and market dynamics.
- Develop persona(s) and lead influencer mapping to understand how best to reach and engage nephrologists.
- Oversee annual updates of physician segmentation and needs assessments to inform strategic planning.
- Develop actionable insights to inform decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and create a plan to target and strengthen DaVita's relationships with nephrologists.
- Define DaVita's value proposition for key physician stakeholders and other healthcare providers, at both national and local levels.
- Oversee the development and execution of website optimization, key message development, content marketing efforts, social media campaigns and engagement, email marketing campaigns, as well as digital and in-person educational opportunities (CME courses, webinars, trial and research collaborations, etc.) designed to reach nephrologists.
- Work closely with field engagement leaders to ensure campaigns are designed to support local, grassroots efforts.
- Use feedback and data analytics to continuously improve strategies and engagement initiatives.
- Build mechanisms to track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and stakeholder outreach efforts.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, marketing, communications, business development, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven experience leading market research, segmentation and stakeholder engagement efforts within healthcare.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing digital marketing and communication campaigns that shifted stakeholder attitudes and behaviors.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of an organization.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
