The Clinical Programs Manager will develop and oversee operations for the Clinical Pharmacy Management Team and directly manage a team of Authorization Coordinators. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Clinical Pharmacy Management, the Manager is primarily responsible for direct management of the authorization coordinators on the team, and will ensure that Team service levels are achieved and that any negative impact to them is mitigated, accounted for, and reported to Senior Leadership. This individual will collaborate directly with the leadership team and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support the formulary management process.

This is a REMOTE role, requiring less than 30% annual travel. We request that this person adhere to our core business hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm Pacific Time.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Daily team management: delegate out tasks, determine priorities, manage team inbox, and ensure metrics are met. Focus on driving team dynamics to pursue team strengths. Manages and oversees assigned projects with significant accountability; meets expectations to "get stuff done". Assist detailed review/development of training materials and other collateral in support of clinic teammates
- Provides leadership, direction, guidance to direct reports for the purpose of meeting training, service level, technical issues, staffing, and other operational needs. Participates in creation and implementation of Clinical Pharmacy Management department goals. Build on clinical vision to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and build business cases for initiatives, to measure and achieve goals
- Manages and coordinates urgent and complicated support issues. Strong problem-solving abilities to take complex issues, develop detailed plans, and coordinate execution. Provides coaching and assistance to direct reports in the areas of disciplinary action, employee training, problem resolution and work assignment delegation.
- Collaborates with other Village departments such as Pharos IT and others to manage the ongoing development and enhancements of the system
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates of team performance to Manager to ensure alignment with goals and vision. Provide recommendations to meeting metrics and deadlines. Help with reporting and presenting the work that CPM does with other stakeholders
- Ensures change is managed in a positive and constructive manner. Ensures continued awareness of and adherence to the Mission and Values of the organization. Other duties as assigned
- Prior hands on experience as a Team Supervisor in a business environment/Call Center and knowledge of the techniques necessary to manage the activities related to team management, process workflow, coaching
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-moving work environment
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management, problem solving, strategy development and alignment and experience working in highly matrixed organization
- Experience managing a remote team strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Salary/ Wage Range
$71,800.00 - $100,400.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
